Site in preparationA website that conveys technical capability without losing editorial warmth
engranate audits how companies work and automates the repetitive processes that steal hours from them. Their website needed to communicate two things at once: technical rigor and a close relationship. We built it from scratch with an editorial system (Fraunces serif for headlines, Manrope for body, IBM Plex Mono for details) and a custom decorative gear pattern. Five pages, static SSG, no templates.
The problem
- ✗ No web presence — a new business that needed to launch with a fully built identity
- ✗ Risk of sounding like a generic consultancy if templates or stock visuals were used
- ✗ Communicate pricing and process transparently without losing the warm tone
What we did
- Full visual system: tokens, editorial type scale, reusable components and dark mode
- Five pages built in Astro 6 + Tailwind v4, static SSG, no runtime or database
- Baseline technical SEO: JSON-LD schema, meta tags, sitemap, robots.txt and security headers
- Custom animated gear pattern and contact form with validation
